Benefits of Membership

Annual membership to the Gulf of Maine Ocean Racing Association ensures continued support of local sailors and quality racing. Without membership dues GMORA could not bring to the local sailing community the organization an active, multi-event regatta schedule requires.

Support Sailing: Your dues - 'individual' and 'club' - support this website, the GMORA yearbook, technical support to member clubs, trophies, and sailboat racing in the Gulf of Maine as a whole.

Trophies: Individual GMORA membership is required for any boat and its owner to be eligible for both series and season trophies.

Clubs: As 'club' members, yacht clubs, sailing associations, and sailing organizations are entitled to appoint a representative to the GMORA Board. Members receive service and technical materials equal in value to dues.

Yacht Clubs are required to be members of GMORA to have their races sanctioned by GMORA and scored towards the season championships.
